For just $65 per year, you’ll receive a crisp 3′ × 5′ American flag displayed on a sturdy 1″ × 10′ steel flagpole for each scheduled holiday.
To make installation quick and seamless, our Scouts will install a small PVC ground sleeve near your curb to securely hold the flagpole. The sleeve sits below ground and is generally not visible. A small green shield marking on the curb helps our Scouts quickly locate the placement spot for future holidays.
We service residences and businesses in the Nassau Bay, Clear Lake, Seabrook, and Webster areas.
Funds raised through our flag service help support camping, leadership development, service projects, outdoor adventures, and sponsorships for Scouts in Troop 1966.
During the summer months, our Scouts typically place flags the weekend before each holiday. Scouts usually work in teams, though some may work independently.
During the school year, holidays such as Patriot Day and Veterans Day may require a slightly more flexible schedule due to school and extracurricular commitments. Your flag may arrive a little before or after a neighbor’s, but rest assured: it will be proudly displayed in time for the holiday.
Our Scouts will service your flag regardless of whether you are home or away.
Our Scouts take pride in delivering and collecting flags, but safety comes first. If weather conditions are unsafe, we’ll wait until the weather passes and return as soon as it is safe to do so.
Yes! Flag subscriptions make a wonderful gift, and many of our customers purchase them for family, friends, and neighbors.
Our flags are weather-resistant and designed to withstand normal rain and residential irrigation systems.
If you move, please let us know as soon as possible. If your new home is within our service area, we may be able to transfer your subscription to your new address.
If transfer is not possible, any unused portion of your subscription will generally be treated as a donation supporting Troop 1966 and its Scouting programs.
Our flagpoles are sturdy 10′ galvanized steel poles designed for outdoor display. Each subscription includes a 3′ × 5′ American flag mounted approximately 9 feet above ground, creating a prominent and respectful display at your home.
